About Gingko Design
Paul and Natalie Sun's passion for art and design led to them setting up Gingko Design in 2011. They saw that simple, design-led and functional products were lacking in the market and knew that they could fill that gap with innovative and stylish designs, which have now won a number of international awards and enabled Gingko Design to become a leader in the home and gift sector.
Gingko Design's superbly crafted products are simple and unobtrusive, providing something unique but also functional and long lasting. Using the latest technology and a fresh, modern approach, Gingko Design brings elegance and practicality together in a seamless and sustainable way, creating lighting, accessories and timepieces that will bring something truly special to your home.
The company is named after the Gingko Biloba tree, one of the oldest in the world, beautiful when the leaves turn golden in autumn, and used for making herbal recipes and teas for hundreds of years. When the company was set up, the aim was to design and craft products that echoed these qualities; longevity, beauty and a practical use.
