Refund policy

We want you to receive the best possible experience when you shop with Home and Bay. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

Starting a Return

To start a return, please contact us via our contact form letting us know your reason for requesting a return. We’ll reply with instructions on where to send your package, should we accept the return. 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If we agree you have received items that are broken, defective, or if you received the wrong order, we will immediately send out a courier to collect the items and send replacements to you.

Changed Your Mind

If you make a purchase but change your mind, we are happy to exchange or refund items returned to us in a new and unused condition. By new and unused we mean: your item must be (1) undamaged, unworn and unused, (2) with tags, and (3) in its original packaging, which (4) must be undamaged. Items received by us that are not considered to be in an unused condition may be returned to you. If you are returning items because you have changed your mind, the return shipping costs will be borne by you. We recommend that a verifiable method of return delivery is used as we cannot accept liability for any goods posted by customers and proof of posting cannot be taken as proof of receipt.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on the following:

  • Sale / clearance items
  • Items that were damaged by you 
  • Items that you have used

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

If you've requested a refund we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. It may take a few days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. Please note our original shipping fees are non-refundable.
