About The Dartmoor Soap Co
Inspired by their baby's delicate skin, the creators of the Dartmoor Soap Co decided to steer clear of traditional bathing products and instead create a pure bar of soap themselves from natural oils.
This discovery got them thinking about their own skins and how they were affected by the products used on them. They researched the debate surrounding the use of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) in skin products, familiarised themselves with the role of parabens and became obsessed with reading labels.
In short, they became skin-savvy and embarked on a mission to put their soap-making skills to the test and create a range of beautifully scented, yet 100% natural soaps. Indeed they were so pleased with the results that they decided to share them with the world, and hence The Dartmoor Soap Company Ltd® was born.
