At first glance, the fluid shapes seem abstract, but upon closer inspection it can be seen that the watercolours on the dinner bowls form the silhouettes of various beaches, bays and coves along the Cornish coast - Treyarnon Bay, St George's Cove, Trevone Bay and Porthilly Cove. The original watercolour art was first painted onto handmade paper, the shades of blue masterfully depicting the depths and shallows of the seaside. The bone china bowls are the perfect shape for serving light or saucy meals, as they are wide yet have a scoop to ensure liquids are contained.
